Successful FGT

I have a successful attempt at making Fried Green Tomatoes. No applause necessary.
Good coating coverage.
Good browning and crisp coating.

I found that cutting the slices thinner than 1/2 inch worked much better because the tomato cooks better.
Too bad you couldnt have tasted these, they were pretty good.

Oh my gosh those look awesome! GOOD JOB and YES applaussssssse!!Did I tell you when we made our first batch Mike forgot to dip them in the bread crumbs at the end after the eggs so the first few were more like some sort of strange breakfast food with nothing but the cooked egg on the outside! lol Our second round looked much closer to yours! Mike still wasn't totally won over but I will be making them again. I found dipping them in ketchup to be quite tasty too! :) Hugs
